The Bags You Bought Are Counterfeit – Hermes To Linda Ikeji

Popular Nigerian female blogger, Linda Ikeji took to Instagram last night to share with her followers new pairs of Hermes Birkin bags she allegedly purchased for £14,000 which approximately is N4.8 million.

Some fans who were curious about the bag's worth, accused Linda of purchasing a fake bag as they went further to notify the bag designer, Hermes, on that authenticity of the bag, via their Instagram page.

Although most major brands do not respond to direct messages on Instagram, but Hermes did as they explained that the bag which Linda showcased are actually fake and we’re not made by Hermes.

However, Linda who was furious on why her bag should be tagged as counterfeit by Hermes, went on to narrate how she allegedly purchased the bag during one of her trips to the United Kingdom.

“Don’t worry my darlings, I’ll take all these down later but let’s clarify this. So, I bought the bag for 14 thousand dollars on Sloan Street, UK. In Naira, that would be how much again? That would be about N4.8m. Damn, Linda!” she wrote.

Howbeit, most Nigerians who expressed interest in the bone of contention, maintained that she wouldn’t be the first person to buy a fake product and so she shouldn’t border herself in trying to make people believe her. While others called on her to post the receipt of the said N4.8 million product so as to lay to rest this incessant argument about the authenticity of the bag.
