Accessing Kingdom Economy: "Towards Experiencing Kingdom Economy" ~ Rev. Olubunmi Obalade

TEXT: MALACHI 3:8-10 "Will man rob God? Yet you are robbing me. But you say, ‘How have we robbed you?’ In your tithes and contributions. You are cursed with a curse, for you are robbing me, the whole nation of you. Bring the full tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. And thereby put me to the test, says the LORD of hosts, if I will not open the windows of heaven for you and pour down for you a blessing until there is no more need". (Malachi 3:8-10).

How many of us don't give tithe? Why don't you give your tithe?

Some say "this, this, and this on this small salary?!"

One of the ways to connect to kingdom economy is by tithing. Tithe is the one tenth of your first produce or earnings. Tithe isn't 10% of your income but the first 10% of your income. Some christians think tithing is foolishness but it is not.

"Brothers and sisters, think of what you were when you were called. Not many of you were wise by human standards; not many were influential; not many were of noble birth. But God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong". (I Corinthians 1:26,27).

TEN REASONS WHY CHRISTIANS DON'T GIVE THEIR TITHE.
 (i) People complain that enough income is not even coming in. They say to themselves that "enough is not coming in". Remember, if you can't give 10% of one naira, you won't give 10% of one million naira.
(ii) Fear of insufficiency thereafter. Some say what if the rest 90% isn't adequate. Your life depends on God's provision not your labour.
"I was young and now I am old, yet I have never seen the righteous forsaken or their children begging bread". (Psalm 37:25).
(iii) No particular person has influenced them in that direction. No pastor has confronted them on tithing and nobody taught you about tithing. Tithing is a commitment and responsibility that you belong to the Kingdom of God.
 (iv) Lack of trust in God and His promises. Malachi 3:10. "We need His blessings, He doesn't need our money".
 (v) The problem of greed. The syndrome of everything is mine. How greedy are you when it comes to your income?
 (vi) The problem of selfishness. If you love God, you will love to give. How selfish are you? (vii) The absence of corresponding testimonies in the lives of some known tithers.
 (viii) Poor or lack of understanding of the word of God. There are ways tithing works for a true tither. Tithing has principles.
 (ix) When the church fails to teach the importance and benefits of true tithing.
 (x) Lack of corresponding testimonies after the previous tithing. Ask yourself what kind of tithing are you doing?

REMEMBER THAT FOR EVERY BLESSING YOU RECEIVE FROM GOD, THE FIRST THING TO DO IS TO GIVE THANKS TO GOD. YOU SHALL EXPERIENCE KINGDOM ECONOMY IN JESUS' NAME.

You must have heard it or read it that our national economy is unhealthy. So also the world economy is unhealthy! The world economy is heading in a wrong direction. YOU KNOW WHAT? DO NOT FEAR! REGARDLESS OF WHAT HAPPENS, YOU WILL RISE AND SHINE IN JESUS' NAME.
