The All Progressives Congress (APC) has described the Peoples Democratic Party’s (PDP) call on National Assembly to start the process of impeaching President Muhammadu Buhari over the purported missing budget as comical.
The APC, in a statement through its National Secretary, Mai Mala Buni, also dismissed the PDP’s calls for the resignation of two ministers and the governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria.
Buni said the PDP’s statement was a distraction to National Assembly and an attempt to divert attention from the ongoing investigation into ‘mind-boggling cases of corruption perpetuated under its defunct 16-year rule’.
