Osun State Governor, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, at weekend openly hit hard on Justice Folahanmi Oloyede of the State High Court over the petition requesting the State House of Assembly to commence impeachment process against him and his Deputy, Mrs. Grace Titilayo Laoye-Tomori, for alleged financial recklessness and failure to pay salaries of workers as at and when due.
Aregbesola who spoke on Saturday evening in the lawns of the State House of Assembly Complex in Osogbo during the 50th birthday celebration of the Speaker of the House, Hon. Najeem Salaam, said that all the allegations leveled against him and his deputy by Justice Oloyede were false.
He said that there was no iota of truth in all the allegations raised against him, adding that the petition was sponsored to smear his image and administration.
The Governor however assured the people of the state that succour would return to the state within the next one month.
The governor also said the coming to power of President Muhammadu Buhari was the magic wand that the state needed to turn around its economic misfortunes of the past one year as well as rescue the nation from economic doldrums and comatose.
