Karim Benzema has rubbished rumours that he could leave Real Madrid before the end of the transfer window.

The French striker has been repeatedly linked with a move to Arsenal in recent months, with reports surfacing over the weekend that he had travelled to London to discuss a possible deal.

But Benzema trained with his team-mates today as Real began preparations for their next La Liga game after the disappointing draw with Sporting Gijon on Sunday.

He then attempted to put speculation to bed once and for all with a tweet on Monday afternoon, in which he declared himself happy in Madrid.
