APC CHIEFTAIN URGES PRESIDENT BUHARI TO IGNORE FAYOSE’S ATTACKS

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ekiti State, Mr. Olusegun Osinkolu, has urged President Muhammadu Buhari to ignore the invectives being poured on him by Governor Ayodele Fayose over the appointment of Prof Mahmoud Yakubu as the new chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission.

Fayose had criticised Buhari for appointing a northerner from Bauchi State to succeed Prof Attahiru Jega from Kebbi State, as the commission’s boss, saying the appointment had portrayed the president as a sectional leader.
