Research in 2014 found that 'dog people' are more outgoing - but 'cat people' are more intelligent. This could be because shyer pet owners might have more intellectual hobbies.
6. You're tall
A study carried out at Princeton University noted that even before they start school, taller kids perform significantly better on cognitive tests than their shorter counterparts.

7. You're thin
A healthy body equals a healthy mind - and being overweight could have an effect on your mental fitness as well as your physical wellbeing. A 2006 French study found that obese people could recall 44% of words in a vocabulary test, while thinner people could recall 56%.
8. You're left handed
Recent research suggests that left-handed people are more prone to "divergent thinking", a type of creativity which allows you to come up with novel and unique ideas.
