    FG Approves Payment Of N413bn To Oil Marketers

    Federal Government Wednesday approved the payment of N413 billion to oil marketers as outstanding subsidy claims to avert the looming fuel scarcity and return of queues at the filling stations.

    Also the management of the Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) has assured adequate fuel supply as it injects more volume of products into the market.

    These were contained in statement issued in Abuja by the Group General Manager Group Public Affairs Division, Ohi Alegbe.

    Meanwhile the President of the Independent Petroleum Marketers Association (IPMAN), Elder Chinedu Okoronkwo has called on members to sell petroleum products at government regulated price.

    The President, who spoke after the Central Working Committee meeting of members, also called on government to resolve whatever differences with private Depot owners so that members could access products at the regulated price.
