Organized in partnership with Access Bank, the Access Mavin Concert will parade the entire Mavin Records’ lineup on one stage for several hours of performances. The artistes include Dr. Sid, Tiwa Savage, Korede Bello, Di’ja, Reekado Banks, D’Prince, and front man, Don Jazzy.
Commenting, Mavins boss, Don Jazzy stated that the show is a special ‘Thank You’ event in recognition of the support from their fans who will only have to pay a fraction of typical gate fees to get in.
“We are very excited to be able to put this together this year after three years of steady progress as individuals and as a label. Despite many odds, we have been able to get to this point and do so many unprecedented things in the Nigerian music industry. I am particularly pleased that Access Bank wants to share in this success story and contribute to it, and I am sure that the fans will love what we have in store for them on the night,” he said.
Giving an insight into the event, Dr. Sid stated: “Our fans have always been here for us through thick and thin. Without them, there will be no Mavin Records label or Don Jazzy or Dr. Sid. What could be a better way to appreciate their loyalty over the years than this?”
Also speaking about the show, a vividly excited Tiwa Savage remarked: “I can’t wait to thrill my fans at the concert and appreciate them for all their goodwill messages during my sojourn to motherhood. It’s going to be exciting performing on stage with my label colleagues and I just can’t wait.”
