Jose Mourinho FURIOUS at League Managers' Association

The Special One is understood to be ready to reduce his support for 'union' he feels should have taken a stronger stand over his recent stadium ban.

Jose Mourinho is fuming at the League Managers’ Association over their lack of public support for him this season.

The under-pressure Chelsea boss is understood to be ready to scale down his backing for the organisation that named him their Premier League Manager of the Year six months ago.

Mourinho is particularly upset and angry at their failure to speak out over the stadium ban last weekend and the suspended one from the FA that he feels were unjustified.

He also feels that apart from issuing statements when managers are sacked, the LMA do little publicly to help their members and have left him this season to fight his battles alone.

Mourinho has been a long-time supporter of the organisation during his time in English football.

Ten years ago, then-LMA vice-chairman Frank Clark backed him after his ejection from the League Cup Final, following the finger-on-lips gesture deemed to have enraged Liverpool fans.

This season, however, the LMA have made no comments throughout Mourinho’s run-ins with the Football Association.

Mourinho has already made it clear that he feels there is one rule for him and another for rivals bosses in the Premier League as far as the FA are concerned.
