Liverpool midfielder Adam Lallana said he wants to die for new boss Jurgen Klopp on the football pitch after the side’s 4-1 victory over Manchester City on Saturday.
Lallana was signed by Brendan Rodgers in 2014 and the recent change in management led many Reds fans to question whether the 27-year-old had a future at the club.
However, the former Southampton man has been a regular under Klopp this season and has clearly impressed the German.
It appears the feelings are reciprocal after Lallana told NBC sport: ‘The feeling Klopp gives to the players… you want to run for him.
‘You want to die for him and the lads on the pitch.’
