A woman who was reportedly impersonating a nurse at Bobbi Kristina Brown's hospice facility – has been arrested, PEOPLE confirms. Per the local affiliate, Forsyth County officials have charged a woman with identity theft, forgery and impersonating a nurse over the weekend. Meanwhile, on Monday, the Duluth Police Department also issued an arrest warrant for impersonating a nurse.
Brown – Bobby Brown and Whitney Houston's daughter, who was 22 when she died in July – spent the last few months of her life at Peachtree Christian Hospice.
According to Fox 5, the woman was employed by the Duluth, Georgia, hospice facility, for one month while Brown was under their care.
Homestead Hospice and Palliative Care, a company that contracts nurses to Peachtree Christian, told Fox 5 they were "shocked and dismayed that [the woman] had issues with her licensing" and that "we are relieved that she is no longer practicing."
The imposter was fired and reported to the State Board of Nursing; Brown's care facility was allegedly not the first hospice the imposter had gained fraudulent employment under, Fox 5 reports.
Per the outlet, investigators do not believe the imposter was interested in getting close to Brown, who was the focus of a media frenzy after being found unconscious and unresponsive in bathtub in January.
