Yesterday, valuables worth hundreds of thousand of Naira were destroyed when fire razed a storey building and two shops belonging to a carpenter and a printer around SW8\576, Lodge street, Oke-Ado, Ibadan.
An eyewitness informed the Nigeria Tribune that the fire sparked off as a result of small refuse heap on fire by the side of the carpenter's shop around 8.20 p.m.
The source further disclosed that the occupants of the shops had closed for the day before disaster struck.
