The English language “safety and security” guide was first issued by al-Qaeda.
But ISIS has now published its own updated version with tips for terrorists and “small cells” on how to cover their tracks.
The 64-page, 12-chapter guide was created last September and features mocked-up images of New York burning.
Inside it tells plotters exactly which encrypted mobile phone apps to use and which to avoid.
It also gives counter-surveillance advice, tips to cells on avoiding infiltration by spies and detailed steps on how to set up a safehouse.
Other tips include how to browse the web secretly, which phones to buy and what apps have been “compromised” by spooks.
