Police are searching for a Chester County, Pennsylvania, pastor who is wanted for allegedly sexually assaulting a teen girl, PEOPLE confirms.
Jacob Malone, 33, is wanted by the West Whiteland Township Police Department for Rape, Institutional Sexual Assault and related offenses, according to a press release.
He met his alleged victim when she was just 12 years old, at a church where he was working as a pastor. "Several years later, in June of 2014," the press release reads, "Malone contacted the [now] 17-year-old victim. He invited her to stay with him and his family in Minnesota where he had become a pastor at a local church."
While in Minnesota, the victim claims Malone started making sexual advances at her, but nothing happened then.
In July 2014, Malone and his family moved to Chester County, where he "again invited the victim to live with him…even registered the victim in a local high school," according to the press release.
"The victim reported that Malone began sexually assaulting her in the fall of 2014 while she was living at his residence in the unit block of Atherton Drive in Exton, Pennsylvania," continues the press release.
"The victim also reported that she attended the church Malone was a pastor at during this time period. The victim reported that Malone provided alcohol to her on two occasions after she turned 18 years of age. During one of those incidents, the victim alleged that she became highly intoxicated and was molested by Malone," the press release concludes.
