Delta State Police Command said it arrested three men, including a 70-year old, for allegedly defiling a 15-year old girl in Agbor, the administrative headquarters of Ika South Local Government Area of the state.
The men were identified as Mr Kenneth Okoro, aged 58 years, Mr Abolity A. Ogwu, 65 years, and Mr Paul Ogwe who is aged 70.
According to the state command spokeswoman, Mrs Celestina Kalu, a duty superintendent of police (DSP), the three were arrested following a report at Police Station Agbor by the mother of the victim, Mrs Patricia Oroyelu.
The mother told the police that her daughter (names withheld) was severally raped by the aforementioned suspects, "taking advantage of the state of her (victim's) health."
