TERRIFYING video shows the panic on board a passenger jet after a bomb ripped a four-foot hole in the fuselage - and is believed to have blown one man out to his death.
Passengers can be seen running to the back of the plane and breathing through oxygen masks moments after the explosion at 14,000ft on the Daallo Airlines flight yesterday.
Witnesses on the ground claimed a burnt man fell from the sky at around the same time the mid-air blast forced the pilots to turn back and make an emergency landing shortly after takeoff from Mogadishu in Somalia.
A policeman later claimed a charred corpse had been recovered in a nearby town, although it was not clear if it came from the stricken Airbus 321.
Mobile phone footage today reveals the drama inside the cabin shortly after the blast - though to have been caused by a crude type of bomb.
Oxygen masks and access panels flap madly in the strong wind screaming through the hole, which is next to a row of seats on the starboard side above the wing.
Men and women sitting close by can be seen making a run for the back of the cabin as bits of debris are blown around.
Meanwhile brave air stewards help frail travellers out of their seats to safety further back.
At the rear, rows of shellshocked passengers breathe through oxygen masks and stare in amazement towards the missing section of fuselage.
Another passenger, Mohamed Ali, said he heard a loud bang before flames opened a gaping hole in the plane's side.
He said: "I don't know if it was a bomb or an electric shock, but we heard a bang inside the plane."
Serbian pilot Vladimir Vodopivec, 64, told Belgrade daily Blic: “I think it was a bomb.
“Luckily, the flight controls were not damaged so I could return and land at the airport.
"Something like this has never happened in my flight career. We lost pressure in the cabin. Thank god it ended well.”
