Alongside a photo on Instagram of the baby’s weight of 6 pounds and 11 ounces, Teigen wrote, “She’s here! Luna Simone Stephens, we are so in love with you! And sleepy. Very sleepy.” And Legend tweeted, “Our new love is here! Luna Simone Stephens, born on Thursday, the 14th. We couldn’t be happier!”
Teigen revealed in February that she and Legend would be having a girl and that she personally chose the gender by picking a female embryo. The model told People, “Not only am I having a girl, but I picked the girl from her little embryo. I picked her and was like, ‘Let’s put in the girl.'”
