Teebillz Suicide Attempt: Ex-Beauty Karen Young Shares Personal Experience [Photos]

Many Nigerians called the sad drama that happened yesterday a ‘publicity stunt’, some also dismissed Tee Billz’ apparent depression as an ‘ego trip’, and it was in this vein that former beauty queen and journalist, Karen Eloke Young was forced to go on Twitter to reveal her private battles.

“I know exactly what is wrong with Teebillz; the journalist in me is dying to reveal it,” she wrote, adding, “but the wise woman in me is saying “STFU Karen Young”!

Despite this internal battle, the former beauty queen schooled Nigerians on depression, explaining that it is not ‘white people’s sickness’ as many are wont to believe, and she also shared a horrifying photo of her slit wrist to drive the point home.
