2. “Sure, go have fun”

Hmph.

Umm… Code for “Don’t have too much fun because you have to fill the ‘Miss Me More’ slot.”

3. “I am not mad at you”

Watch me.

She’s a dragon breathing fire and wants to turn you into a nice grilled steak for dinner.

4. “I love you the way you are”

Argh!

Minus the slight paunch, that hideous shirt and the gelled spikes you think make you look hot. Yep, totally.

5. “I’ll be ready in a minute”

Snooze*

Forget the movie, it’s not happening. Book a table for two and tell them you’ll arrive post 45 minutes.

6. “I don’t mind hanging out with your friends, tonight”

Plotting revenge*

Her thought bubble reads “You want to ditch our romantic evening for your gang of baboons?”

7. “Valentine’s Day is not a big deal”

Translation = It IS a VERY BIG deal.

8. “I just wore whatever I could get my hands on”

Need some attention

LITERAL Translation = “I’ve taken hours to dress up for you. Compliment me, now.”

9. “Fine, do whatever you want”

I dare you.

For your own sake, DO NOT take this statement at face value.

10. “I don’t mind paying”

Not cool.

Even if you’re broke, pay. Women are very touchy about this aspect.
