ÌT is no longer news that former deputy governor of Osun State, Senator Iyiola Omisore, has being declared wanted by E.F.C.C over allegations of receiving N700 million from the Office of the former National Security Adviser, Sambo Dasuki (rtd).
What is news is that Senator Omisore might have fled the country and is currently in Ecuador.
Ecuador, a South American country is known for housing wanted persons fleeing their countries to evade arrest and generally does not extradite such persons which is why Jullian Assange, the WikiLeaks founder fled to Ecuador's embassy in London.
According to a source, Senator Omisore may be holed up in Quito, the capital of Ecuador.
However, 234today cannot independently confirm this report at the time of publishing as calls put to his aides went unanswered.
