Children Among 11 Injured In Lightning Strike At Paris Park

At least 11 people, including eight children, have been injured after lightning struck a park in Paris.

The incident occurred at the Parc Monceau in Paris' eighth arrondissement on Saturday afternoon.

The children were aged between 7 and 14, according to reports.

A report on Le Parisien's website quoted a local official as saying the children had been attending a birthday party.

Firefighters were called to the scene.
