One of the popular figures in the music industry, Bizzle O, has reacted to the news that he was fired from Mavin Records.
Recently, the Internet was awash with reports that the artiste and repertoire specialist credited with some of the success of Mavin Records was fired after a fallout with Don Jazzy. However, in a telephone conversation with Sunday Scoop, Bizzle Osikoya said he was not fired.
“I wasn’t fired from Mavin. I have to move on to something bigger. My leaving or not is not helping anybody.’’
Bizzle was one of the few people that stuck with Mavin Records after the Mo Hits Record fallout that saw Dbanj and Kswitch exit the label. He is seen as close ally of Don Jazzy, the CEO of Mavin.
Shortly after telephone conversation with Sunday Scoop, Bizzle took to Twitter to ask Don Jazzy if he was truly fired. ‘Boss, dem say you fire me o.’ Don Jazzy responded in his jovial characteristic manner, ‘I fit, send me tomato jor. Stories are flying around the blogsphere that Don Jazzy fired Bizzle because he allegedly leaked the story about the impendng departure of Tiwa Savage from Mavin.
