Full List Of Winners At Tony Awards 2016

Last night, the 2016 edition of the Tony Awards which honours the best of Broadway held at New York City’s Beacon Theatre.

The night began with a tribute to the 50 people who lost their lives at the Pulse Gay club in Orlando after a shooter opened fire on clubbers.

The host of this year’s Tony Awards, James Corden, said that hate will never win as the theatre is where people from all corners of life, race, sexuality, religion are welcome.

For the awards, the hip-hop musical “Hamilton” nabbed 11 winnings out of the 16 nominations it copped.

Meanwhile, our favourite actress Lupita Nyong’o lost out on the opportunity of bagging her first Tony, but her play ‘Eclipsed’ won Best Costume.
