Singer Brymo is becoming more controversial on social media, he went philosophical on Twitter today, tweeting streams of thoughts about why he thinks the “black man likes to suffer.”
“We need to make it a point to preach value in all that we do, not everyday money money money,” the singer said, and then went on to add, “black ppl feel helpless, we are not.. We are lazy and illogical.”
Not long after, Nigerians dragged him for making such a stereotypical statement, with some calling him stupid. But the singer stuck to his guns, refused to see wrong in labeling a whole race and sneering down his nose at them; an act which has earned him more rebuttals on social media.
Recall that Brymo caused quite a stir weeks ago when he advised a student who needed financial help to drop out of school. Back then, he was mercilessly dragged, and this time, Nigerians are forming an opening about him.
“Brymo slowly becoming the John Mayer of Nigerian music……lovely music…but off-colour statements on social media making him easy to hate,” Twitter user said, and another added, “It appears Brymo is an idiot.”
