As evidenced in her latest interview with Billboard magazine, the model, who recently graced the Yeezy Season 4 runway during New York Fashion Week, is not sweating one bit by at all by the negative attention her relationship with the “Sorry” singer is getting. In fact, she’s completely unfazed by it.
“I remember the paparazzi and the shit people would say to Nicole [Richie], and she wouldn’t respond,” she tells the magazine, referring to all the tabloid gossip her older sister had to put up with during the early 2000s. “I’m going to be real with you: It. Doesn’t. Bother. Me. As long as I’m happy.”
According to Richie, she found herself drawn to Bieber after realizing that he was someone she could really confide in. As the two share close ties to the Hollywood scene (him as a pop star; she as the daughter of music icon Lionel Richie), they’ve found themselves connecting on a different level.
“We have a special relationship,” Richie says. “Justin is very easy to talk to, and that’s hard to find with people in Los Angeles.”
