Brad Pitt is accused of getting physical with his 15-year-old son, Maddox, during an argument with Angelina Jolie on their private plane last week. The actress subsequently filed for divorce, and Pitt is now under investigation for child abuse. Here is everything we know about the incident so far.

It had been wrongly reported by many outlets that Pitt is also under investigation by the Los Angeles Police Department, but this isn’t the case. The incident took place on an international flight, which means the LAPD doesn’t have jurisdiction. Jolie is seeking sole custody of their six children, but the actor its expected to file for joint custody and is prepared to battle Jolie in court over their kids.
