Ondo Election: Mimiko Aides Resign, Join APC

Two members of the Peoples Democratic Party; Mr Ojo Victor and Mrs Aderonke Oladun have dumped the party for the rival All Progressives Congress (APC) ahead of the November 26th gubernatorial election.

The duo were Special Assistants to Governor Olusegun Mimiko on Political and Mobilisation matters.

They resigned from office to join the APC in the state.

The disputes between Ahmed Markafi and Ali Modu Sheriff factions in the state over who is the flag bearer of the PDP in the state was said to be responsible for the defection.
