Gov Amosun Gives Houses To Street Sweeper, Traffic Officer, Others For Free

Ogun State governor, Senator Ibikunle Amosun, on Monday rewarded a street sweeper, a traffic warden and three other civil servants with a house each for their dedication to duties.

The street sweeper whose name is yet to be ascertained and a traffic officer, Adekoya Folasade together with Wole Dosunmu and Waheed Adesina, both of ministry of information and strategy and Sule Isiaka who works with the governor’s office, were the lucky beneficiaries of two bedroom flats.

The Governor announced the gift during the presentation of keys to successful applicants of AAK Degun MITROS Estate in Laderin Area of Abeokuta.

Governor Amosun, while explaining the rationale behind the gift, said the he had been monitoring both the street sweeper and the traffic officer for quite a long time even without knowing their names.

The three other names were however picked from the list of outstanding civil servants compiled during the last Workers day in May.

All the beneficiaries who were not present at the event except Dosunmu were however invited to the programme through phone calls.
