The American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers, ASCAP, have officially recognized Nigerian singer, Wizkid, for his songwriting genius on American rapper Drake’s hit song ‘One Dance.’ Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun popularly known as Wizkid was also featured on the track as it went on to top the billboard Hot 100 chart for weeks, as well as gaining a Grammy Awards nomination. Ever since Wizkid made his musical debut with teen favourite “Holla at your boy” in 2010, he has gone on to become Nigeria’s biggest musical export, scoring collaborations with International artistes which include Trey Songz, Chris Brown, Tinie Tempah amongst a whole lot more.
