#BBNaija may have broken the record for organising the best fake wedding of all time, Nigerians think, and it is all thanks to the ceremony put up for favourite housemates, Efe and Marvis.
For many viewers, the duo have a chemistry they have become endeared to, and it didn’t come as a surprise when they were elected the best couple, beating Bisola and TTT whose NSFW displays triggered mixed reactions.
Yesterday, the mysterious Biggie sent the housemates supplies to prepare for the feast of the wedding between the couple, adding that the event will be attended by guests. The housemates prepared meals for the occasion and in four hours, the house was ready to receive the guests who would witness Efe and Marvis’ union.
And the event was planned out; it didn’t feel like make-believe; the parents of the bride, played by TTT and Bisola, received N24 as the bride price, plus gifts, and the traditional engagement was completed with a kiss.
And then the wedding party began.
Dressed in traditional outfits that showed off Nigeria’s rich culture, the housemate gave their best performance, with Debbie Rise playing the entertainer, while Bassey was the MC.
This episode was a warming diversion from the outrage that trailed the show after Kemen was disqualified for sexually harassing Tboss. That now seems to be in the past; Nigerians are all up on social media talking about the show again, this time many of the viewers hope for a real life union between the favourite couple.
