Roberto Lajpop-Mateo was arrested on bestiality charges after a family from Wenden in Arizona, who officials say will remain nameless, were shocked when they caught him violating their animal on their property on Saturday, the La Paz County Sheriff’s Department said.
He was initially wanted for trespassing and the alleged sexual act, officers said.
Deputies searched for the suspect and could not find him, but he was picked up the next day.
He will appear in court on Monday.
It is not known if the goat needed any veterinary treatment after the alleged sexual assault.
Last month a woman was accused of having sex with a dog in an online video.
Cops raided Amy Graves’ home following a tip off about footage showing the alleged vile session.
The 43-year-old has been charged with unnatural intercourse with a dog, and could be jailed for 10 years if convicted.
