A schoolboy groomed by his teaching assistant claims the abuse has 'scarred him for life' after she let her daughter call him 'dad' and even told him she was pregnant.
Caroline Berriman was this week spared jail after admitting to having sex with the 15-year-old student .
The boy, who is now 17, has broken his silence to tell how Berriman groomed him over Facebook.
Berriman, now 30, came clean about the affair with the boy last year.
The relationship started when she was working as a classroom teaching assistant at Abraham Moss Community School in Crumpsal, Greater Manchester.
The boy said the pair did not have sex until five months into their relationship but from then on it was regular and "always unprotected".
He told the Sun: "It must have happened over 50 times in the space of those few months."
The teenager says the pair regularly texted and called each other and he spent a lot of time at her Berriman's home.
He told the newspaper she even introduced him to her two-year-old daughter, who started to call him 'Dad'.
The pupil said the turning point was when Berriman told him she was pregnant.
He told The Sun: "Stuff like that has scarred me for life."
The boy confided in his older brother, but his mother stumbled upon the relationship and threatened to involve police if her son did not end it.
When the student told Berriman his mother knew about their affair, he claims she became angry and attacked him, claiming she would lose her daughter.
The teenager claims the teaching assistant turned up at his house with £20,000 in cash begging him to run away with her before he reported the abuse to Childline, the newspaper reported.
Berriman has since left Abraham Moss, having been suspended when the allegations against her were first made.
She was hauled before the courts in July, but the case was adjourned when she fell ill.
Berriman was sentenced this week, but avoided being sent straight to prison.
She pleaded guilty to two counts of sexual activity with a child - and a further charge of sexual activity with a child by a person in a position of trust.
Berriman, of Manor Close in Chadderton, Oldham, was handed a two-year sentence, suspended for two years at Minshull Street Crown Court, having pleaded guilty to all three charges at an earlier hearing.
She faces 250 hours of unpaid community work - and was ordered to pay a £100 victim surcharge.
Berriman must also obey a restraining order prohibiting her from contacting or seeing the victim - who cannot be named for legal reasons.
She admitted she committed the offences while exercising a degree of responsibility for the teenager’s education - and that she had exploited her position of trust.
