    Haiti Presidential Election Runoff Postponed For The Second Time

    A runoff election in Haiti scheduled for Sunday to choose the Caribbean nation's next leader has been postponed for a second time over security concerns, an electoral council spokesman said.

    Opposition candidate Jude Celestin had vowed to boycott the election over fraud allegations in the first round, held in October, although he has not formally withdrawn.

    Haitian officials have been trying to negotiate a solution to the country's election crisis.

    There has been growing concern that a flawed runoff would push Haiti to the edge of tumult, rolling back a decade of relative political stability and putting the brakes on foreign investment.
