Emeka Ike Denies Part In Ibinabo Fiberesima’s 5 Years Jail Term

Actor Emeka Ike has denied instigating the sentencing of fellow Nollywood star Ibinabo Fiberesima.

Last week, Fiberesima’s 5-year sentence for the death of a medical doctor 10 years ago was upheld by a court of appeal.

Fiberesima and Ike have been embroiled in a battle over the presidency of the Actor’s Guild of Nigeria, with Ike having previously referred to as an “impostor.”

However, Ike says he has nothing to do with Fiberesima’s current predicament. “We are in court on the matter of our guild, the Actors Guild of Nigeria, not on the issue of death or motor accident. I don’t wish jail for her,” Ike was quoted as saying.

“Ibinabo has been impersonating to be the president. I am the president. I only want her to vacate the office. If she has a case and jailed for it, it has nothing to do with me, “Emeka Ike added.
