Emilia Clarke appeared on Friday’s “Graham Norton Show,” during which she revealed she watched her recent “Game of Thrones” nude scene with her parents. Check out the funny video below!
The actress, who plays Khaleesi (a.k.a. The Mother of Dragons) on the HBO fantasy series, admitted that her parents were concerned during the show’s first season because her character didn’t get much screen time. “There’s some episodes where they were like, ‘It’s great, but you’re sort of not really on very much are you?'” Clarke joked.
The star, however, was very much front and center during a sequence on the current season in which she’s featured walking through flames completely naked. “I did encourage them to watch [that episode], which in hindsight might not have been the episode to choose,” acknowledged Clarke. British talk show host Norton then quipped, “There was a lot of you in that episode!”
But not only did Clarke’s parents watch her nude scene, the actress revealed she was actually sitting alongside them during the airing. She admitted she “didn’t leave the room” while her on-screen nudity played out, but joked that in an effort to distract her folks, “I probably started talking about something really important.” Watch a highlight from Clarke’s “Graham Norton Show” interview below!
