Yesterday, Wizkid revealed he is working on a new project with South Africa’s top musical band, Mi Casa, and Dj Maphorisa. While many people assumed that the three parties are collaborating on an independent project, South African music producer, Oskido, has confirmed that the project is actually for the Star Boy’s much-anticipated album.
“It was a pleasure listening to @wizkidayo ‘s forthcoming album last night,” Oskido wrote on Instagram yesterday, noting, “What a masterpiece! Beautiful collabos.”

Two days ago, Wizkid made a historic 11th position on the Global iTunes/Spotify Artist Ranking, topping the charts with artistes like Adele, Drake, Beyonce, Rihanna and Justin Bieber. And so, Oskido believes that the power the Nigerian singer now wields, plus his enviable creativity, the new album will open doors for those who collaborated with him.
“ It is definitely gonna open many doors for African artistes internationally,” the South African producer who has worked with D’banj said, adding, “This album will achieved what no other African album has achieved before. #ibelieve“
