Nigerian Footballer Slumps And Die During Training

Nigeria lost a talented footballer who was playing for the Azerbaijani first division club, Zagatala PFK. Report has it that he was recently signed into the club last season.

Michael Umanyika was said to have left Nigeria where he spent his vacation, and on his very first training in the club, he suddenly slumped and died.

All effort to revive was futile as he was already gone. At this moment the main cause to Michael’s death is unknown.

Until his death, the soccer player made 20 appearances for Zagatala PFK and was well loved and cherished by his teammate.
