The Swedish striker signed for the Red Devils on a free transfer in June after he left Paris Saint-Germain at the end of last season.
Ibrahimovic has made a strong start to life in the Premier League, scoring three goals in his first three games for United to help his side make a 100 per cent start to the season under their new manager Jose Mourinho.
The 34-year-old arrives in England having played across Europe throughout his career, but he admits that Manchester United’s fans have been one of the best he has ever seen.
Speaking in an interview with 7Days, Ibrahimovic said: “I have said already that I have played in many leagues in many countries, but the Manchester fans have eclipsed anything I have ever known.
“Every game this season they have been the 12th man on the field for us, and if we are going to have a successful season – they will play a big part.”
Ibrahimovic and his United team-mates are currently preparing for their Premier League clash against Manchester City at Old Trafford on Sunday afternoon.
