And he’s got a fellow rising star in his sights as he seeks to embark on a lengthy career in football.
Abraham was one of 38 Blues youngsters to head through the Stamford Bridge exit door on a temporary basis this summer.
But he’s not let the disappointment of not yet making the breakthrough in west London hold him back since moving to Ashton Gate.
The 19-year-old has bagged 11 goals in 18 appearances for Lee Johnson’s side so far this season.
And in doing so he’s streaked ahead of Manchester United prodigy Marcus Rashford - in the goalscoring stakes, at least.
Now, speaking to The Sun, the Chelsea academy graduate had his say on the England international’s emergence.
"It’s crazy how it’s gone from me playing against him - and him losing the FA Youth Cup - to him winning the actual FA Cup," Abraham said.
"It’s massive how things change in football. It’s well deserved and I’m really happy for him.
"One day it would be nice to play alongside him. If I keep doing my best, hopefully I will have that chance."
Meanwhile, Abraham will be looking to continue his impressive form when Bristol City travel to Barnsley this afternoon
