Omotola Jalade Confronts Young Boy Who Insists She’s His ‘Spiritual’ Mother

Yesterday, at the end of the filming of her latest movie, Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde met a young Nigerian boy who said she is his mother. The dramatic scene took on an emotional slant as the boy knelt in the street, pleading with the iconic star to forgive him of unknown crimes.

“So who told you that I am your mother,” Omotola Jalade asked the boy.

He seemed a tad clueless as he went from naming a mystery father to claiming he had a spiritual awakening and realised she must his mother.

“This is like the second time this has happened to me. Why me?” The actress asked, and some offered explanation for the confrontation.

“The guy needs help… He is hungry, didn’t know how best to go about it since he met a celeb.. Plz help him any little way you can plz,” one fan, @mz_mhesi, said.

“He said you are his mother because he believes in you and he is very proud to say it please just render him a little help if you can,” another fan, @houstonsabrina, noted.

And like she noted, this is not the first of such experiences.

In March of this year, a a man who claimed the actress was his wife was arrested in Lagos after he attacked home appliances dealers Scanfrost and Haier Thermocool over her. From reports, he had been threatening branches of the two companies over the billboards of the actress that they put up, saying he wants his wife back. Eventually he was arrested after he returned with a knife to attack people at the store.
