If kids could decide the outcome of this year’s election, they’d pick Hillary Clinton for President of the United States, according to Nickelodeon’s Kids Pick the President poll.
A total of 905,928 kids cast their vote in the online poll from the children’s television network, and 53 percent supported Clinton. Republican nominee Donald Trump earned 31 percent of the vote, while third-party candidate Gary Johnson earned 11 percent. One vote was tabulated per household and kids could vote between Oct. 28 and Nov. 5.
According to Nickelodeon, those participating in Kids Pick the President correctly chose the next POTUS six out of the last seven elections since 1988. The one incorrect pick was John Kerry over George W. Bush.
We’ll see if they guess right again after Election Day on Tuesday.
