Shola Ogududu has shut down news that she is engaged, and this comes hours after she teased SnapChat fans with a photo of an engagement ring on THAT finger.
Recall that the mum of Wizkid’s son posted the photo with a caption that drove the point home. “Yes!” She captioned it, and not long after, fans flooded her social media with congratulatory messages.
However, she had a surprise coming much later. “Shola is not engaged,” she began. “She would be eventually at the right time and to the best man (Amen), but don’t chase him away with false news please.”
Chase him away?
Shola’s history with Wizkid has always won her a lot of sympathetic fans. During her final year at the university, she got pregnant for the singer and struggled to graduate with a good result. It would take two more years before the singer accepted her son Boluwatife as his.
The mum never fails to share her bonding moments with her son, and so when she shared the presumptive story of an engagement, fans gulped it. Now, she is setting the records straight.
