Barcelona failed in an attempt to get Claudio Bravo to stay at the Nou Camp
Claudio Bravo has arrived in Manchester ahead of his switch to City
Chilean rejected a last-ditch attempt by Barcelona to keep him in Spain
Barca offered the 33-year-old a pay rise to retain his services
Bravo has his heart set on joining Pep Guardiola at the Etihad Stadium
Barcelona made a last-ditch attempt to keep Claudio Bravo by offering him a pay-rise but the Chilean had already set his heart on joining Pep Guardiola at Manchester City and turned them down.
Bravo's departure has upset Barcelona coach Luis Enrique who wanted the 33-year-old to stay at the club as first-choice league keeper, with Marc Andre Ter Stegen remaining as Champions League and Copa del Rey keeper.
To appease their boss, Barca's board offered Bravo a final-hour improved deal but he turned it down because City's commitment to him over the next four seasons was greater.
Bravo is set to leave Barcelona after only two seasons at the La Liga club
