Brianne Altice, 36, claimed that she “had no evil or malicious intent to cause harm” and criticised one of the boys' parents for not coming to a parents' evening.
When she was an English teacher at Davis High School in Salt Lake City, Utah, Ms Altice pursued relationships with three boys in her class.
In her letter, she blasted the parents of one of the teenage boys, who failed to attend parents’ evening during the 2012-13 school year.
According to Ms Altice, the victim, then 16, asked her "for advice on how to repair the strained relationship between himself and his parents".
She claims that he helped to defend her from pupils who liked to call her “hot” and “sexy” and denied dressing in a risqué way.
But parents have slammed the school for being in the dark about Ms Altice’s multiple affairs with pupils.
It is believed that the English teacher, who was married at the time, repeatedly flirted with male pupils.

Her behaviour caused a running joke around the school of “Who is Ms Altice sleeping with now?”
The ex-teacher does not have enough money to pay for a lawyer, so her handwritten letter was a chance for her to respond to the parents’ accusations.
Ms Altice openly wept in court in July when the judge sentenced her to between “two to 30 years” behind bars.
