Gov. Ambode Appoints Prof. Fagbohun As New LASU VC

Lagos State Governor, Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode on Wednesday approved the appointment of Professor Olanrewaju Adigun Fagbohun as the 8th substantive Vice-Chancellor of the Lagos State University (LASU).

Fagbohun, a Professor of Environmental Law, was until his appointment Director of Research at the Nigerian Institute of Advanced Legal Studies, University of Lagos.

The appointment was contained in a statement signed on Wednesday by the State’s Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Mr. Steve Ayorinde.

Professor Fagbohun is a member of several academic and professional bodies, and a fellow of a number of national and international institutions.
